Chess engines

The 19 human masters use Rodent IV. AURORA uses Stockfish. Both engines are distributed with their applicable licence text and required corresponding source code. Stockfish and Rodent IV are licensed under the GNU General Public License.

Engine and other components

Created with the Godot Engine (MIT licence). Chess-piece artwork by clarkerubber is used under the MIT licence. The complete product-specific licence texts are included with the game installation.

AI-assisted content

Generative AI tools were used during development to assist in the creation of visual and audio content. All AI-assisted content was created before release, reviewed and curated by the developer, and is included as part of the finished game. No generative AI is used during gameplay.
