2. Privacy-first website

This website uses no external analytics or advertising services, embedded videos, externally loaded fonts or contact forms, and it does not set cookies or similar storage technologies itself.

3. Delivery and server logs

When you request a website, your browser necessarily sends data to the hosting server. This may include your IP address, date and time, requested file, transferred volume, referrer, browser, operating system and HTTP status. Processing is required for secure and stable delivery and abuse prevention. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is the legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Local page-view counter

Each successful page request increments one local total and the count for the requested PHP page. Only the page filename and its aggregate count are stored. The counter stores no IP address, time, referrer, browser or device information, sets no identifier and does not combine visits into visitor profiles. Direct web access to the counter file is denied by the server, and the PHP file also terminates before any data can be output. The aggregate counts are not disclosed to third parties.

5. Links to Steam

No connection to Steam or Valve is made until you follow a clearly labelled external link. The external provider then processes data under its own terms. See the Steam privacy policy for details.

6. No automated decision-making

This website performs no automated decision-making or profiling.

7. Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Whether additional Australian privacy rights apply depends on the activity and applicability of the Privacy Act 1988.

8. Changes

This policy will be updated if hosting, included services or legal requirements change.
